The Devonshire Fireplace Mantel Shelf is the perfect addition to any refined decor. This hand-crafted piece is made of fine Choi hardwood, a species known for its exceptional durability, light color, and tight grain similar to that of American White Oak. You can choose our classic, medium brown Fruitwood finish or opt for an unfinished mantel shelf. The wood's fine grain character allows for easy painting or staining to suit any decor.

Suggested Preparation Before Painting or Staining Pearl Mantels and Shelves

Before applying paint or stain to your wood mantel, we suggest that you lightly sand your Pearl Mantel or shelf followed by wiping it down with a tack cloth. When painting, we suggest using 2 coats of a stain blocking primer such as Zinsser®, Kilz® or similar product. Follow the instructions on the can. For staining, please follow the manufacturer's instructions.
