The Shiloh Fireplace Mantel Shelf is a true classic. The understated elegance of its clean lines and timeless style will be an asset to your home for decades to come. This hand-crafted piece is custom made in the United States to your specifications.  Made of your choice of Birch Wood or Red Oak, this fireplace mantel is available at any length up to 72 inches. 

To place your order, first select a wood option.  Next, you can choose our elegant Vermont Maple, American Walnut or Rosewood finishes, black or white paint, or a clear coat gloss.  Alternatively, you can opt for an unfinished mantel or one that has been primed and is ready to paint.

Once you have selected your wood and finish, please select the Length Range that applies to your mantel.  For example, if you need a mantel 62 1/4 inches long please select "60 inches or more" as your Length Range.  If you do not select the correct range, we will be unable to process your order.  Lastly, enter the desired length of your mantel shelf in inches and fractional inches.

A variety of materials are used in our wood mantels to keep our prices low and to ensure durability. Each wood fireplace mantel comes in four different materials depending on the look you want to achieve:

Paintable Wood Fireplace Mantels

• MDF - Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) is made from wood fibers blended with synthetic resins. This material is easy to paint and withstands many years of use. We use finger-jointed wood moldings on our MDF mantels and shelves.
• Paintable Birch – Our paintable wood mantels are built from birch with finger-jointed pine moldings.

Stainable Wood Fireplace Mantels

• Stainable Birch – Our stainable wood mantels are built from birch with solid white pine moldings. 
• Oak Fireplace Mantels – Our oak mantels are built using red oak and solid oak moldings.
